I got an email this morning from a friend with tis information.
"He was hit by a young lad driving a car we think he has broken an arm and pelvis, quite a bad accident. Update
from Dieter Droger thinks he has had surgery today on two broken hips. He is going
to visit him and will pass on our best wishes and update us as soon as he can."
I will let you know anymore as soon as I hear any.

From what I hear it happened at Cudworth bridge Wayne was hit by a young kid in a car with his dad , the lad has recently passed his test , he hit Wayne then smacked into a parked car .... excessive speed ? don't know but Lee spoke to Richard Dean on Saturday and he said he is pretty smashed up , he said he may never ride again - but this is Wayne we are talking about ........ just like Arnie He'll be back !!! Get well soon mate
Being this slow has taken years of dedication ..... I didn't want to ride the A25/11 anyway ....
